A formidable and towering creature designed for the action RPG, completed as an outsourcing project. This model represents raw, primal strength and a deep connection to the earth. The creation process began with conceptualizing a rugged, mountainous appearance, followed by detailed high-poly sculpting in ZBrush to capture the coarse, rock-like textures and dense fur.
The model was then retopologized in Maya to optimize it for real-time gameplay. UV mapping was handled in RizomUV, ensuring efficient texture space usage. The texturing was done in Substance Painter, focusing on blending natural, earthy tones with rough, weathered surfaces. Rigging in Blender enabled realistic and heavy animations, suitable for the troll's massive frame, and was designed for seamless integration into Unreal Engine.
It is crafted to serve as a challenging boss, evoking fear and awe in any player who dares to face this creature in-game.
