A ferocious and otherworldly creature designed to haunt players in the dark fantasy RPG. This model was crafted as part of an outsourcing project aimed at creating a fearsome enemy that adds a high level of intensity to the game.
The creation of the Nightmare Hound began with a detailed high-poly sculpt in ZBrush, focusing on its grotesque musculature and eerie facial expressions. Retopology was handled in Maya to ensure the model’s efficiency and performance in a real-time environment. UV mapping was meticulously done using RizomUV to maximize the texture detail.
Substance Painter was used for texturing, where a combination of dark, unsettling tones and rough, coarse fur textures were applied to bring out the menacing characteristics of the creature. Rigging was completed in Blender, providing the model with the ability to perform fluid and aggressive animations.
Optimized for Unreal Engine, It is designed to be a formidable opponent, ready to be unleashed on unsuspecting players.
